1. It takes a while to start an instance, especially when creating an instance from a snapshot.
2. Once the instance is terminated, any data that was stored locally on the instance will be lost. We strongly recommend you save data in your MatBox (/mnt by default) in case of data loss.
3. To save the configuration and data you've modified locally on your instance, click "More" - "Create Snapshot". View the tutorial here.
4. The /mnt directory of Matbox currently does not support soft links. If you need to compile or install scripts, we advise you to execute the script in the local directory. Direct training in Matbox will be impacted by the speed of the internal network. To achieve faster training speed, you are suggested to make a copy and execute in the local directory.
5. If the training is expected to take a long time, we recommend you access instances through SSH and use nohup or tmux command to run the training script in the background.
6. JupyterLab is recommended for HTTP access, which is fit for lightweight Python scripting and compiling. Check the official doc here
7. Please contact us if your instance is in an error state.
8. Mining cryptocurrency is prohibited on Matpool. Violations will lead to account block.
